KiteSpend is built on a strict privacy-first architecture. Your financial entries, logged expenses, category budgets, and notes are processed and stored locally on your mobile device.

We do not operate external servers that store, track, or profile your personal transaction records.

Your transaction data stays on your phone and is used solely within the app to render interactive analytics, monthly category breakdowns, and weekly balance summaries.

• Analytics: Generating local fl_chart expense distribution graphs.
• Suggestions: Auto-completing category titles while you type.
• Backups: Transferring encrypted logs directly to your personal Google Drive account when initiated by you.

When you enable Google Drive Cloud Backup in KiteSpend Pro, the app requests access strictly limited to the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata scope (Application Data folder).

This isolated container allows KiteSpend to save backup archives without granting access to your emails, personal Drive files, or Google Photos.

Local ledger records and preference settings use standard device sandbox encryption. You can wipe all transaction data anytime via Settings → Clear All Data.

KiteSpend integrates minimal essential APIs:

• Google Sign-In & Drive API: For user-requested cloud backups.
• Google Play Billing: For secure Google Play in-app purchases.

We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs or data broker trackers.
